This site provides information about environmental justice issues plaguing Houston and Dallas, Texas — including hurricane damage and toxic waste — and also provides information on the history of race and class relations in the two cities and on systemic issues underlying environmental injustice in the two cities. On the “resources” page, Houston and Dallas residents dealing with these issues can find local organizations who directly work to fight for environmental justice.
